Hôtel Raphaël

Hôtel Raphël

17 Av. Kléber, 75116 Paris, France

This is one of the few grand hotels that still feels personal, traditional, and, dare we say, a touch quirky. The rooms in this sixteenth-arrondissement bijou are elegantly fuddy-duddy, and the service is exceptional (especially the concierges). No wonder Wes Anderson shot his 2007 short “Hotel Chevalier” here. —Christine Muhlke
